2024 Farm to Table Dinner:
Event is sold out, see you next year!
Thank you to everyone who is attending the 2024 Farm to Table fundraiser! We have closed all ticket sales, but we hope to see you at our other upcoming events!
Lassen Land and Trails Trust is happy to announce the 7th annual Farm to Table Dinner fundraiser will be held on August 17, 2024 at Mountain Meadow Ranch in Susanville California.
This picturesque evening is generously hosted by Mountain Meadow Ranch, a beautiful rural gem that traditionally served as a Maidu hunting camp, first developed into the ranch seen today by George Wingfield in 1902. Today Mountain Meadow Ranch is lovingly owned and run by the Ellena Family, who have run a well-loved summer camp on the grounds since 1956. Established by Jack Ellena Sr, the stewardship of the land and summer camp was assumed by his son Chip and his wife Jody. Today, Chip and Judy's two daughters and their families maintain the traditions and care instituted by Jack Sr., including the values of Servant Leadership within the camp; this is inspired by the Mountain Maidu's "Serve All" mentality and includes stewardship, true listening, integrity, and inclusivity.
This annual event includes an hors d’oeuvres hour, followed by an intimate three course meal paired with fine wines. The three-course meal in the idyllic setting of Mountain Meadows Ranch will showcase locally raised beef and mouthwatering fresh-seasonal vegetables. Enjoy an evening under the stars with us!
Lassen Land and Trails Trust gives its heartfelt thanks to the many volunteers and generous donations of individuals and businesses that support this event and the numerous projects of Lassen Land and Trails Trust. This year we are proud to have Lassen Ale Works, Cooper-Garrod Estate Vineyards, and Sierra Cascade Nursery as returning sponsors of this special evening. The evenings’ annual auction will include donated spirits and other unique items- all proceeds of the auction contribute to the important fundraising that supports the Land Trusts’ initiatives.
