Donations & Membership

Memberships and donations are critical to the long-term viability of Lassen Land & Trails Trust. We depend on the annual support from our members to sustain the conservation, trails, and educational programs that we provide to the community. Memberships are available at a variety of levels, so please consider joining the Trust today!  

We also welcome donations throughout the year, which may come as gifts to be used by the organization in our areas of greatest need, or committed to a specific project. These donations may also be dedicated in honor or memory of a loved one. Of course, all donations to the Trust are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law (please discuss with your tax professional for more information). 

Membership to the Trust is open year-round; however, in order to remain current, we ask members to renew by March for the upcoming year.

Friend: $50
Family: $75
Supporter: $150
Partner: $250
Land Steward: $500
Conservation: $1,000
 
You may join the Trust by donating online and writing “Membership” under Designation, or email us to request a membership form or additional information.

As a member of Lassen Land & Trails Trust, you are a voting member for the election of the Board of Directors, which takes place each year at our Annual Meeting. Learn more about our board and staff by clicking here.

Additionally, members may attend meetings of the full Board of Directors as observers, and may inspect the records of the organization (Financial documents are available here). We also encourage members to volunteer as committee members or to volunteer at events and on special projects. If you are interested in getting more involved, please contact Amy.

Special Requests

We hope you will consider supporting the Land Trust by becoming a member. With annual memberships starting at $50, and options to schedule recurring automatic donations, we depend on the on-going support of our members to sustain our conservation, recreation, and educational activities. Membership is open throughout the year, with renewals due in March.
