Join LLTT staff, board members, and local naturalists for a morning of exploring and learning at the 385 acre Lassen Creek Conservation Area. Team up with skilled birders, plant nerds, insect lovers, and mammal track hunters for a morning of fun! Or, head out on your own for solo discovery. We are also looking for 3 - 4 volunteers to help collect insects using a variety of collection methods.
What is a bioblitz? A bioblitz is a communal effort to record observations of species of plants, insects, birds, mammals within a designated location and time period.
LLTT will provide datasheets and maps plus detailed directions the day of the event. Data can be collected via old-fashioned datasheets and also via the Lassen Creek Conservation Area Project page on iNaturalist. Details on using iNaturalist will be provided to all who register.
