Jake Dowling, RD, WIC Director's Bio/Intro Meet Jake ! I am a Registered Dietitian and the Director for Northeastern Rural Health WIC Program. I am passionate about nutritious foods and their roles in disease prevention or healing. I am strong believer and supporter in eating local, wholesome foods to nourish the body. About WIC: Northeastern Rural Health WIC is a federally-funded health and nutrition program for women, infants, and children. WIC helps families by providing nutrition education, breastfeeding promotion, issuing checks for healthy supplemental foods, and making referrals to healthcare and other community services. Participants must meet income guidelines and be either pregnant women, new mothers, infants, or children under age five. will have their signs posted of WIC acceptance at their booth! Stop by and see the WIC booth in the

middle of the Market for information! The WIC booth is staffed by the local WIC office personnel!
